“This is a photo without editing that I took in the Garden Gardena a few weeks ago and that I published this morning. People keep telling me that they see the face of Christ,” BuTorac wrote in X.
The image has been retweeted hundreds of times and has more than two thousand “like” on the social network.
Among his responses to those who commented on his publication, BuTorac recalled that some of the olive trees in the Gethsemaní orchard are about two thousand years. “These trees were there that night in the garden,” he said.
The Gospel of Matthew collects the “sadness and anguish” that Jesus felt the night in which he was delivered to be crucified, after the last dinner. In the garden of Getsemaní, Christ replied supplicant: “My father, if possible, that this cup passes from me, but it is not as I want, but whatever you want you ‘.” The garden is located on the Mount of Olives.
