At the last dinner, Jesus instituted the sacrament of the Eucharist, where He is still present in a visible way to “join his people”, as the group says Son By 4. Every time in the Mass the priest performs the consecration, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is renewed sacramentally on the cross.
2. In person Christi – Jesed
With the Eucharist, the Lord also instituted the priestly order. The apostles were the first presbyters of the Church, and from them descends the chain of bishops, priests and deacons that remains to this day.

Given this act of love, “I come to you on your knees, Lord, I ask you the miracle of salvation, I bring you my sorrows and my pain, I change my forgiveness,” emphasizes this song.
5. Mooring Servant – Inés de Jesús
“Mooring servant, exalted in a cross by the sins that he has endured on himself. Defigured, thirsty for love, begs man to sacie the thirst of the heart,” reflects this heartbreaking song that transmits the pains of Christ on the cross and the desire to imitate the sacrifice of our Lord.
6. Jesus of the 7 words – P. Eduardo Meana
The Salesian priest P. Eduardo Meana has composed this song, remembering the words of Christ on the cross and what the heart of Jesus experienced at that time.
7. Maria Diario – Mónica Arroyo’s voice
The Virgin Mary suffered at the foot of the cross, when she saw her son, whom she curled up with love when she was a child, agonizing and dying.
“The Diario de María” expresses the feelings of the painful Virgin, to whom the penitent church accompanies the waiting of the promises of the Lord.
The lyrics of this song question one’s life in the light of the sacrifice that Christ made on the cross. He has been composed as if Jesus himself from Calvary told us: “Tell me if you want me to die, tell me what you can do for me, tell me if you love me as I love you.”
The cross represents Christ’s triumph over sin and death. It is the memory of the Father’s love towards us, as of Christ, who gave life for his friends (Jn 15,13). No one loves you like me It is an excellent song to discover that sacrificial love deep in our hearts, especially Good Friday.
10. When contemplating you on the cross – Athens
Through this song we discover our smallness and the greatness of our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us on the cross. “You gave you to give me a new life and rescue me,” says the lyrics of Athenas.

It is a hymn that allows you to meditate and deepen the mysteries of the Easter Triduum, reminding us of Jesus on the cross for each and every one of us.
12. “If you want, I accompany you on the way”
It is a song by Fr. Eduardo Meana in which we are encouraged to move forward in life and to have Jesus as a partner on the way. The video clip, made by the Salesian Bulletin of Argentina, shows photos of the “via Christi, path of Jesus”, in which Christ with his cross, dead and risen, is close in the daily life of the Christian.
