The Diocese of Parral, in the Mexican state of Chihuahua, reported the death of one of its priests, Father José Carlos Tarango Magallanes (91), on March 29, Good Friday.
“Today (yesterday), Good Friday at 7am, when we celebrate the death of our Lord, Father Carlos has left for the Father’s House in the parish house of the parish of Santa María de Guadalupe and San Juan Diego in Cd. Jiménez, accompanied by the parish priest of that community, Father Roberto Tarín Arzaga, and three nephews of Father Carlos,” he says. a statement of the diocese published on Facebook.
“We thank God for the gift of the life of Father Carlos, a very cultured man, with an iron and strict character; disciplined, lover of Chihuahua puppies and plants, tender and wise in personal accompaniment,” says the diocesan statement, signed by Father Leonel Larios Medina, head of the communication commission.
