Every Holy Thursday, at the end of the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, it is customary that in the churches the Eucharist is protected or reserved in a special space, known in some places as “monument”. This practice allows the faithful to worship and accompany Christ, meditating on what will be their capture and subsequent passion.
