Help the needy church asks to support campaign to give milk to Christian children in Syria

The consequences of 14 years of war continue to hit the Christian families of Syria, many of which are “desperate because they cannot feed their children” and, therefore, need support to the campaign to continue Done a drop of milkpoints to the needy help.

ACN explains that the critical situation of the country makes it difficult to feed children, because “if a family had to buy milk should invest almost all its income.”

“Each can of milk costs about 3,000 Syrian pounds, approximately five euros, and the average salary is 30,000 Syrian pounds, about 50 euros; with that amount it is impossible to cover all expenses. That, without counting that the lack of work affects the majority of the population,” he says.

Among the beneficiaries is the Far Afftim family, who recounts that “milk is very expensive and the salary we earn is not enough for the rental of our house.” For its part, Basil Yousef affirms that donations are a great support “for us that we have suffered so much and now we still have to face reconstructing our houses and our lives.”

The ACN -enabled form allows to donate in Colombian pesos, Argentine pesos and Peruvian soles. Donors from other countries can do it in dollars.
