The communication head of Hakuna, Macarena Torres, advanced to ACI Press that the assistance of some 5,000 young people is expected to “live and shout the world the truth we carry inside.”

Tickets, still available, can be acquired in this link.

This concert is part of the second edition of the Hakuna All Meeting (HAM), Hakuna’s Annual Meeting that is usually held in Rome. However, this is the second time when the event is held in Mexico City.

On Friday the concert will be held, while on Saturday a congress will take place at Expo Santa Fe, followed by a Mass and a holy hour in the Basilica of Guadalupe. Finally, on Sunday the film will be screened in Mexico Barefoota Spanish production that explores the transforming power of music.

Hakuna: A Movement Without Borders

Macarena Torres stressed that Hakuna’s growth in different parts of the world has been perceived by its members as an unexpected gift. As he explained, “no one intended for Hakuna to reach other places.” “We see everything with a lot of surprise, that there are other cities and countries that want to live what is lived since 2013 in Spain,” he adds.

Torres emphasized that the movement continues to expand spontaneously, without a pre -established plan. He described this growth as a “surprise and as a gift”, which does not respond to a strategy defined by the community, but to the desire of those who claim: “I want to live that lifestyle or I feel reflected in the charism and I want to live it like this.”

Finally, he invited young people who still do not know the movement and feel curious about their music and activities, ensuring that “you have not seen anything yet.” He explained that within the community the phrase is often repeated: “Now we have not seen anything, we do not know where the Holy Spirit will take us around this,” but they trust to follow this path together.
