How to change a tire? What fluids should be checked before going on a trip? What is the correct driving position? What are the mandatory elements to circulate? These are some of the topics that will be developed in the free workshops.
This is an initiative of Women at the wheel which will be carried out on the Argentine coast together with the Citroën and Peugeot brands.
For all those women who are on the Coast and want learn more about your car and safe drivingit is possible to join these two practical, open and free workshops.
They will be held on Monday, January 22 and Tuesday, January 23, at 11 a.m., in the Summer Car Show space, located on Route 11, km 407 (10 minutes from the center of Cariló and 15 from Villa Gesell).
This workshop will be taught there with key content to enjoy being behind the wheel and know what to do in different situations that may arise.
“Knowledge and practice generate security and when we feel safe we gain confidence and that is where enjoyment and autonomy behind the wheel begin. “We invite all women to join this meeting,” adds Luly Dietrich, founder of Mujeres al Volante.

The following are some of the topics that will be covered in the workshop, either to review or to learn:
- Tips on how to manage our head.
- What is the correct and safe position behind the wheel.
- Appropriate footwear for driving.
- How to carry luggage and what are the consequences of carrying loose objects. How to hold them correctly.
- How to know if your tires are in good condition and how to change them quickly and safely.
- How to control car fluids and basic engine maintenance.
- Checking and changing windshield wiper blades.
- Tips for switching from a manual to an automatic transmission.
- Mandatory items to carry in the car.
- Regulatory documents.
As an additional attraction, those who participate in the workshops will have the opportunity to test, since the Stellantis group models (Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Jeep, RAM and Fiat) can be driven on the premises.
Mujeres al Volante is a community that encourages more women to be behind the wheel. Get your driver’s license for the first time or start using it, breaking limiting beliefs, stereotypes, family stories, fears or excuses.
