Ford Argentina raised the level of technology of the brutal Ranger Raptor, which from now on will be equipped as standard with a 4G modemallowing users to operate multiple commands and vehicle functionalities remotely and from their cell phone.
In this way, the wildest pickup (along with the F-150 Raptor) becomes the brand’s third connected vehicle, along with the Mustang Mach-E and the new generation of Ranger.
The incorporation of this technology there is no cost. The modem will be incorporated into the vehicle’s architecture and will work directly connected to the “FordPass” application, a customer portal that, among other things, helps improve the vehicle’s productivity through differential items.
The advantages of being connected
Through this technology, Ranger Raptor users have a new way to interact with the vehicle and relate to the brand.
The integrated modem allows, once linked with the FordPass application, customers to operate remote functions such as locking and unlocking the doors, turning on and programming the climate system, and triggering horn and light alerts, among others.
They will also have all the vehicle information on their phone: available fuel, estimated range, odometer, tire pressure, oil life and real-time location.
They will also be able to access a set of personalized experiences that the brand calls “My Ford Experiences”.
Among other advantages, from the application, customers will be able to book maintenance appointments, including the possibility of requesting a door-to-door vehicle transfer service.
Another differential is access to “Ranger Expert”, which allows customers to communicate with highly trained people to clear up doubts about the operation of their vehicle), the 360 Ford Guide and the Ford Concierge, among others.
The vehicle also takes advantage of technology, since through the 4G modem it can receive wireless updates to its modules and systems without having to go through a dealership.

The new generation of the Ford Ranger Raptor was presented in Argentina at the beginning of 2023.

The 4×4 system was also improved, since in addition to the traditional options offered by a connectable double traction system with a reduction box (4×2, 4×4 high and 4×4 low), it added an automatic option that distributes the force between both axles depending on the of the adhesion of the soil or the demands of handling.
The Ford Ranger Raptor is priced at $ 96.707.400 and is offered with a 5-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty.
