Fiat sells its smallest car again and becomes the cheapest in Argentina: how much does it cost

Fiat relaunches the Mobi in Argentina, its smaller and more economical model that returns after having been discontinued at the end of 2022 due to import obstacles imposed by the previous government.

The Fiat Mobi returns to become the car cheapest on the market. It comes in a unique and unpublished version (Trekking) that costs $19.005.000 y which in this first stage is only offered through savings plan.

This price places it $1.2 million below the Toyota Yaris

Fiat Ahorro offers for its commercialization a proposal of the type 80/20with deferrals in the first 24 installments and awards agreed upon from installment number 3, 12, 24 and 36 (paid) and with an integration of 20%.

The value of the first installment is $121,741, making it one of the most affordable plans on the Argentine market.

Unlike the Mobi versions that were previously marketed (Way, Easy, Easy Pack Top and Active), the Mobi Trekking is distinguished by having a more adventurous look thanks to the black plastic inserts on the fenders, mirrors and fog lights; longitudinal roof bars; darkened 14″ wheels and a series of stickers that adorn the hood, skirting boards and tailgate.

It is worth remembering that Fiat used this nomenclature in other models such as the Palio Weekend and the Strada pickup.

As for equipment, it offers manual air conditioning, internal trunk opening, on-board computer, power steering, gear shift indicator on the dashboard, 7″ multimedia screen with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, front electric windows with function anti-pinch, multifunction steering wheel and rear parking sensors.

For its part, at the safety level it maintains the essential minimum: double front airbag, stability control, ABS brakes with electronic brake force distribution, hill start assist and Isofix hooks for child seats.

Mechanically it has no changes. It retains the Fire EVO 1.0-liter gasoline engine (8 valves) that delivers a power of 70 horsepower and is associated with a five-speed manual gearbox.

The range has a total of five colors, available in pastel and metallic tones: Banchisa white, Bari silver, Vulcano black, Monte Carlo red and Silverstone grey.
