Ewtn launches podcast about Carlo Acutis with unpublished testimonies of his mother

On the occasion of the canonization of Blessed Carlo Acutis, which will take place in Rome on Sunday, September 7, Ewtn announced the launch of a new podcast entitled “Carlo Acutis: a son for heaven”, in which his mother shares memories and messages of the saint.

The 12 episodes were recorded in Assisi (Italy), in the center of Carlo Acutis, and will be available in the Spanish Ewtn Channel on YouTube Since Monday, August 25.

The project has the participation of Gaby Jacoba, producer and screenwriter of the movie “Kit of Holiness”, who dialogues with Antonia Salzano, mother of the young blessed known as the “cyber and the Eucharist.”

In each episode, Antonia Salzano shares anecdotes and reflections on Carlo’s life, remembering her childhood and the family environment in which she grew up, the saints who inspired their path of faith, their call to holiness in everyday life and the way in which she integrated her spiritual life with the normality of a teenager.

In addition, he recounts his hobbies, sports, friendships and school life, as well as the research he conducted on the Eucharistic miracles and his deep devotion to the Virgin Mary.

The series also includes two special episodes in which Carlo’s mother transmits the message he wishes to leave today and shares how he is living the days before the canonization.

With an intimate and close tone, “Carlo Acutis: a son for heaven” not only offers a human portrait of the young Blessed, but also an invitation to discover that holiness is possible in the midst of ordinary life and digital culture.
