The eviction of the former Cismatic Nuns of the Monastery of Belorado (Spain) has been suspended after the sentence that forced their eviction before the Provincial Court of Burgos has appealed.
This has been agreed by the Briviesca Court of instance, so that the order to remove the former religious of the monastery located in the archdiocese of Burgos is without effect.

Those who decided on their own will to renounce their belonging to the Catholic Church in May 2024 and were excommunicated for incurring the crime of schism, have managed to expand again the process by which the Pontifical Commissioner appointed to resolve the case, the archbishop of Burgos, Mons. Mario Iceta, intends to recover the full use of the place, which belongs to the Catholic Church.
The Spanish Justice rejected the claim of the schismatic group of converting its former Catholic religious community into a civil association that will be presented as the head of the monasteries of Belorado and Orduña and decided its eviction, with a provisional date of September 12, which was postponed to the next October 3.
As detailed diario ABCmost of the nuns of the nuns would have been transferred to the monastery of Orduña, where the five older sisters not excommunicated and the only ones recognized by the Pontifical Commissioner as those that make up the Clarisa community were also taken, along with another one that went just to start the schism.
Belorado’s outrages of Belorado were excommunicated from the Catholic Church for the crime of schism in June 2024, after a few months before they announced that they abjurate their belonging to the Catholic Church and put themselves under the tutelage of a false bishop also excommunicated.
When they were also expelled from the consecrated life within the Catholic Church, they had to leave the monastery, but began a legal battle.
