Event “Networks” to form digital evangelizers will be held in Chile

With the intention of responding to the call of Pope Leo XIV to “repair networks”, the “networks” day, a digital evangelization training space will be held in Chile.

The event is promoted by the Pastoral of the Catholic University of Chile (UC), the Archbishopric of Santiago, Radio María and Pastoral of the Duoc UC Higher Training Institute and will be held on Thursday, October 16 at the San Joaquín de Duoc headquarters.

The activity summons communicators and media teams of parish, movements, youth communities, religious houses and Catholic identity spaces, offering an initial day of inspiration, and also proposing a six -month online training program.

During this process, participants will be accompanied in the development and execution of a specific digital communication project at the service of the Church.

When calling the event, from the Duoc Uc pastoral they stood out in a statement: “We want to deliver tools and accompaniment to those who today feel the mission of announcing the gospel in the digital world. This project seeks to enhance communicational work in ecclesial communities and generate real evangelization networks.”

Those who wish to participate must meet the following requirements: be part of a communications team in an ecclesial space (parish, chapel, university, movement, youth house, religious order, among others); and have the desire to learn and contribute to the communication mission of the Church.
