Likewise, it recognizes that “all social, academic, political, cultural, religious actors and sectors and, in general, all people, are obliged to commit themselves with special consideration for the children and adolescents who inhabit our respective nations and the entire planet, many of whom live the atrocious experience of being captured and exploited for sexual purposes and for the sale of organs.”
Italy also commits to working “through institutions, businessmen, organized civil society and public administration and to consider the tools and means that are necessary to generate prevention, care and rehabilitation of victims, while strengthening the institutions that are involved in the fight against this crime”.
They will also seek to “implement protocols for the identification and care of child victims of trafficking and exploitation, as well as promote the application of codes of conduct in the tourism and transportation sector for the protection of children.”
