As a culmination of the Latin Grammys’ 25th anniversary celebration in 2024, the Latin Academy presented “Sessions: 25 Years”. This is a digital piece that includes duets between five renowned artists and young musicians for those they have a special admiration for and who they invited to collaborate on one of their iconic songs.
Each of the five duets includes new arrangements of classic songs of iconic artists. “As part of our 25th anniversary celebration, we wanted to create a project that aligned with our mission of transcending generations, geography and genres,” said Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy.
“We are very grateful to the artists who shared their time and talent with us to continue elevating Latin music globally, and support the next generations of music creators.”
The full video for “Sessions: 25 Years” will be available exclusively on the Latin GRAMMYs Facebook channel, and individual performances will be available via Reels on the Instagram accounts of The Latin Recording Academy and the participating artists. .
