On Virrey del Pino, almost arriving at Av. Libertadoris the work under construction of one of the first height buildings with an unusual construction system in the city of Buenos Aires.
The architects Teresa Sarmiento and Nicolás Tovo, who make up the Base Studio, conceived with Place a housing building in the Bajo Belgrano from Soul profiles full of galvanized sheet Custom prefabricated in workshop.
According to Tovo, the project escapes the idea of fact isolated and It is part of a larger scale matrix They are developing, related to this novel way of building in CABA in which the prefabricated building in workshop is arriving in parts to the work site.
In the Studio base they have a 25 -year work trajectory with this technology in metal and wood applied to single -scale single -scale housing houses and housing buildingsapproximately 4 floors.
The innovative feature of the Pino Viceroy project refers to the combination of its construction under the roof of soul sets fills artisanally made for this work, the height of 9 floors of the building and its location in a high density zone of the City of Buenos Aires.

The next developments of the Studio + Place base will be a building with even greater scale than Virrey del Pino; and two other ground floor buildings and four floors, in different sectors of the city. They will have a dry constructive system, but Standardized profilemaximizing efficiency.
In the future, they foresee a multiplication of buildings using both metal and wood for the generation of their structure, whose elements are of easy assembly, disarmament and reuse.
Even though does not produce significant economic advantages at the momentthis system values immediacy, the minimum impact on its environment and the possible future metamorphosis of the structure.
