Elections in Panama
In the interview with EWTN, Bishop Ulloa recalled that on Sunday, May 5, Panamanians will elect the country’s authorities for the next five years.
“We are very clear, the Church as such will never be able to anoint any candidate or have a preference for any candidate. What we have done is that the Church, as mother and teacher, has been educating conscience, so that from a vision of faith we can choose the best,” indicated the prelate.
“I think this is the great challenge. We cannot be good believers if we are not good citizens, and a citizen casts a reasoned vote, a vote thinking about the common good,” said the Archbishop of Panama.
