Father Francesco Bamonte, vice president of the International Association of Exorcists (AIE) and priest of the Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, affirms that devotion to the Virgin puts the devil to flight, in a reflection for the Christmas and Jubilee season of 2025.
“Devotion to the Virgin – which has its maximum expression in the consecration to Her and her Immaculate Heart – if lived well by us, allows this Mother to act deeply in our lives and to operate in us to the maximum this conformation to the life of the Son”.

In a text in Italian titled “Mother of Christ and Our Mother: One meditation in preparation for Christmas and the great Jubilee of 2025”, the vice president of the association that brings together 900 exorcists, highlights the importance of living this time “united with the Immaculate Virgin.”
The Jubilee of Hope, he continues, “will introduce us to the great grace” of the Lord, since “the Mercy of God, which from that moment (December 24) is given in superabundant measures through the Heart of the Mother of Mercy, makes us ‘abound in hope’, to be able to awaken it in those who have it dormant and make it emerge in those who have never had it.”
The Italian priest also highlights that “because the Son of God, by becoming flesh, also became the Son of Mary, every man not only becomes a son of God in Him, but also becomes a son of the Virgin in Him, like Jesus.” “He was and is the Son of the Virgin.”
“To the extent that each man opens himself to his maternal action, allowing the Virgin, in her ineffable love as a Mother, to feed him, educate him and care for him, she allows him to imprint on himself the physiognomy of Jesus, to carry the feelings of Jesus to your heart, to reproduce in your soul the attitudes of Jesus,” he emphasizes.
To conclude, Father Bamonte wishes “that Our Lady, Mother of hope (Mother of hope) and Mother of forgiveness (Mother of forgiveness), accompany us to the Lord.”
The Jubilee of Hope officially began on December 24 when Pope Francis opened the Holy Door in St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican; and will conclude on January 6, 2026, when this same Holy Door closes.
