The weekend, a year and a half after that episode, the current owner of the club, Monica Del Rio He was closing the door of his house when a person said his last name behind his back. When she turned around, she handed her a transparent sheet of paper, which she thanked and she only looked up again when she understood what it was about.
“‘They paid me 10 lucas to give it to you, I have nothing to do with it‘, the boy who was about 20 years old and dressed as Cipoletti told me and ran away. “I went back into my house and I just read the message and counted the bullets,” the club owner explained to Radio LT9.
In Cipoletti, the mandate headed by Del Río was fulfilled and the club did not call for elections, a delay that motivated the mafia message received from the hand of a messenger and with the same common thread as in the case of Gutierrez: the departure of the post.
“Madame President Mónica del Río, go now. We invited her to leave through the front door,” says her message, which did not move the president so much, until she made an account of it that terrified her: there were as many bullets as there were people living in the house.
The president contacted the Police Chief with whom she has dealings for security operations, who told her to file the complaint at the corresponding police station and then a prosecutor’s office intervened to investigate the case to try to find those responsible. Del Río, has no clues.
“I don’t know where it comes from. A lot of anger is vented on social networks, many things that have nothing to do with each other and go beyond each other. The management of the club has not been bad, we were with a call to clean up historical debts, there is a fiduciary body that controls every peso… There is no variable that can be questioned about this management,” he claimed his presidency, although he acknowledged that he will not continue. in club policy.
Once the new authorities are elected, he will not continue in office. Meanwhile, the club issued a poor and ambiguous statement, lacking forcefulness and precision.
“The Cipolletti club repudiates and regrets any type of violence, which does not represent the values of the institution. Violence, in any order, is never the solution and much less the way,” says a post on the Meta networks, which is not replicated on the club’s official website.

After the “repudiation” of the club and what followed was the certainty that Del Río will not continue to be linked to politics of the club and confirmed that in less than two years, two mafia attacks marked the end for two leaders.
“I always thought about continuing, I came to this position because I always collaborated and I know the life of the club. My family and friends, even my work environment, disagree with me continuing. The board of directors will meet on Wednesday night to resolve the date with the call for elections. The ruling party will not have it in its lineup and it remains to be known if there is an opposition that forms another list.

This is what the statute indicates. “At the meeting, the date for the presentation of lists and the entire process that corresponds to the formation of a new board of directors are defined.”
Del Río is a person closely linked to the club, with active participation in different subcommittees and a journey that led her to exercise the presidency after a series of events that followed Gutiérrez’s resignation.
His resignation, and that of other directors, left the club on the verge of acephaly and in a reflex act of survival, the members’ assembly appointed a new board of directors chaired by Roberto Rapazzo Cesio, the club’s historical leader.
