At 33 years old, Father Marcin Jablonski, LC, has become the unexpected protagonist of the Dakar Rally champion team, led by driver Carlos Sáinz and his co-driver Lucas Cruz, when it was learned that he participated in the race and blessed the vehicle who won the final victory.
The person who revealed the story was the co-pilot Lucas Cruz who, in an interview granted to The confidentialtalked about how there had been many difficulties experienced, but that they had emerged successfully from all of them: “I don’t know if it’s because we had a priest on the team, who blessed our car and saved our ballot,” he explained.
Cruz details that the incorporation of the legionary priest occurred at the invitation of the engineer Daniel Gratacós, whose children attend the Royal Monastery of Santa Isabel College, in Barcelona, belonging to Regnum Christi, where the young priest carries out his apostolic mission.
