Amid the increase in tensions and attacks, the Church in France – and in Europe in general – is experiencing a notable spiritual renewal, especially among young people. Statistics show a significant increase in the number of baptisms and confirmations, with many young adults rediscovering their Christian roots.

For example, only during the Easter of 2025, 10,384 people in France received the sacrament of baptism, along with more than 7,400 adolescents who received confirmation. In a striking way, 42% of these new baptisms were from young people between 18 and 25 years, a sign of a growing rebirth of the faith driven by youth.
