Renault presented its most economical model and the cheapest in the entire Argentine market: the Kwid. The French brand had anticipated its return for 2025, but finally the boy made in Brazil was officially presented in the country.
The Renault Kwid, which is currently marketed in its 100% electric version, the Kwid E-Tech, has arrived to position itself once again as one of the options cheapest on the local market.
The Kwid was one of the best-selling models in the country until it was discontinued in October 2021, due to availability problems generated by import restrictions.
The sale price is located at $ 17.900.000which leaves it below the Fiat Mobi ($19,550,000) and will also be significantly cheaper than the Renault Logan (from $23,730,000), so far the most economical model.
As a pre-sale, and starting on Thursday, December 5, the first units will be available through the Renault Store, the e-commerce from the French brand, and through a savings plan, at the special price mentioned above.
The financial company of the diamond brand, Mobilize Financial Services, accompanies the return of this citycar to the Argentine market with financing of up to $10,000,000 at a 0% rate in 18 fixed installments.
The return of the Renault Kwid will allow the brand to be present in the dismantled segment of city cars, which until a few years ago was made up of Fiat Mobi (the only survivor), Ford Ka, Nissan March, Toyota Etios and Volkswagen up!.
Manufactured in the Brazilian plant in Sao Jose dos Pinhais, state of Paraná, the Renault Kwid was updated a few months after being discontinued in the country.

The Renault Kwid increased its equipment.The dimensions remain the same: 3.73 meters long, 1.58 m. wide, 1.48 meters high and a wheelbase of 2.42 meters. The capacity of the trunk, for its part, is 290 liters.
Mechanically it maintains the gasoline engine 1.0 liters that delivers a power of 66 horsepower and that is coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox.
The Kwid began to be sold in our country at the end of 2017. For four years it became the workhorse of the French brand, achieving more than 45 thousand patents.
