Through his official Twitter profile, the Holy Father also specified that “in it Christ himself is truly in our midst to nourish us, console us and sustain us along the way.”

On the Thursday following the Solemnity of the Holy Trinity, the Catholic Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christa day on which the Eucharist — the real presence of Christ — is given a public and solemn cult of adoration, love and gratitude.
During this day, the procession of the Body and Blood of Christ takes place after the main Mass, becoming the most important of all the processions of the year.
It should be noted that in many countries, for pastoral reasons, the date is moved to consecutive Sundays. This 2024, it is celebrated this Thursday, May 30 and, where applicable, on June 2.
In fact, the Holy Father will preside over the Holy Mass and traditional procession Eucharistic ceremony from the Basilica of San Juan de Letrán to that of Santa María la Mayor next Sunday, June 2, something that has not happened since 2018.
