The Diocese of Guanare announced the celebrations program for the 373 years of the appearances and the 73 years of the canonical coronation of the Virgin of Coromoto, patron of Venezuela.

The National Sanctuary of Our Lady of Coromoto is located in the city of Guanare, Portuguese State (Venezuela), in the same place of appearances.
The Celebrations Program for the Virgin of Coromoto
The parties begin with the ninth Coromotana in all the parishes of the diocese next Tuesday, August 29; And on Sunday, September 7, the parish priests will celebrate a special Eucharist in honor of the patron saint of Venezuela.
On Wednesday, September 6, more than 300 riders will pay tribute to the Mother of God in the XV Coromotana Cavalcade, which will be held from 7:00 am (local time).
On Sunday 7 there will be a solemn procession with the relic of the Virgin, from the park of the appearance in the Virgin gorge to the Minor Basilica National Sanctuary Our Lady of Coromoto, after which there will be a Mass.
On Friday 8, the Bishop of Guanare, Mons. Oswaldo Enrique Araque Valero, will preside over the Mass in the Basilica square from 10:00 am, the same place where Pope San Juan Paul II celebrated a massive mass in 1996. The sanctuary will remain open and the day will conclude with a concert at 6:00
On Monday, September 11 and to commemorate the 73 years of the coronation, at 3:00 pmse a caravan will hold with the Coromotan relic from the basilica to the coronation field.
That day, at 6:00 pm, the Mass will be presided over by Mons. Carlos Curiel, Bishop of Carora, on Juan Fernández de León Avenue. After the Eucharist the relic will be taken to the cathedral where there will be a concert.
The Coromotan relic
The Santa Reliquia of the Blessed Virgin of Coromotowhich measures 2.5 centimeters high by 2 centimeters wide, was delivered by the same mother of God to Cacique Coromoto on September 8, 1652.
The relic rests in the National Sanctuary of the Virgin of Coromoto, in Guanare, which was consecrated on January 7, 1996, and opened with a solemn mass chaired by San Juan Pablo II, on February 10, 1996.
