In a message From the Facebook account of the Military Bishopric, Mons. Ochoa Cadavid lamented the deaths of Major Juan Carlos Morales Sáenz, Captain César Andrés Rodríguez Ospina, and Subintendants Feder Alejandro Celis Núñez and Rafael Antonio González Roncancio.
“It is a day of particular pain for the beloved National Police of Colombia,” said the prelate, “who lose these men who have given their lives for the great institutional motto ‘God and Country’.”
Likewise, he addressed the families of the deceased. “May the Lord be with them, grant them, all of them, the resignation and the ability to accept this tragedy and to accept this deep pain,” he expressed.
