In a fun exchange of laughter, the team Williams published a video starring Franco Colapinto y Alex Albonin which both had a questionnaire-type conversation based on the question: What do you prefer?.
In the talk, the drivers of the British team debated topics that, although they seemed to be basic, triggered an intimate and comic moment, in which the good chemistry they had could also be seen. Since in what conditions the Argentine prefers to run in the Formula 1 to what the Thai people’s favorite food tastes are.

The complete conversation between Albon and Colapinto
Albon: Wet race or dry race?
Colapinto: Dry race. I don’t like being full of water everywhere.. It’s not nice.
Alba: British food or French food?
Colapinto: But if England doesn’t have food… There is no English food.
Colapinto: That? Porridge?
Albon: No, fish and chips.
Colapinto: Ah, there’s the English breakfast.
Albon: Yes. English breakfast, Sunday roast…
Colapinto: No, better I choose French food.
Colapinto: But They only eat paninis, right? The bread is good.
Albon: No, they eat duck and… They are going to destroy us here, but… There is a lot of French food.
Colapinto: What do you eat?
Alba: Thai food. I try to get the chefs to prepare it.
Colapinto: But they don’t.
Colapinto: Sweet or spicy?
Albon: Spicy. I am Thai, very easy. Is there spicy food in Argentina?
Colapinto: I hate spicy.
Colapinto: Yes, it just makes me feel bad. But also I love sugar.
Albon: In Singapore you have to be careful. It can be quite spicy… I think that on Thursday we could go to a market called Hawker’s, grab the hottest stuff and then you can prepare for the weekend.
Colapinto: Can you get the spice? Look how you’re starting to sweat a lot. I sweat a lot when I eat something spicy.
When does Colapinto run again?
The next Formula 1 GP, in Austin, United States, will be held between Friday, October 18 and Sunday, October 20. The calendar for that weekend will be different from the previous three in which Franco participated, because on this occasion also a sprint will be held (that is, a short race that gives points to the first 8) that will take place on Saturday the 19th.
Due to this, the schedule for that weekend will be organized as follows: Friday will be the qualification for the sprint race; On Saturday that sprint will be held and then there will be qualifying for the long race, and on Sunday the Grand Prix will be held, which will begin at 4 p.m. in Argentina.
So far, Albon and Colapinto have shared the grid three times: Monza, Baku and Singapore. In the first, where the Argentine’s historic debut in the Máxima took place, Williams’ team finished in 9th (Albon) and 12th (Colapinto). In Baku, both entered the top 10, adding a total of ten units for the team: the Pilar native finished in 8th position, while the Thai finished in 7th.
The most recent precedent, last weekend, can be said to have been positive only for Colapinto, since he was able to finish the race (in 11th placenothing short of adding points again), while his partner did not have the same luck because He had to abandon due to temperature problems on lap 15.
How are they in the Drivers’ and Constructors’ championships?
In the drivers’ championship, Albon occupies 13th position with a total of 12 pointswhile Franco is in 19th place in the standings with the four points obtained in Baku in just three races. Meanwhile, the team Williams is 8th in the constructors’ championship, with 16 units. The Dutchman Max Verstappen leads the individual table with 331 points (7 wins and 11 podiums), while in the McLaren team title he is comfortable at the top with 516 (7 wins and 15 podiums).
