The terrorist group Islamic State (ISIS) has attributed responsibility of the deadly attack on a Catholic church in Istanbul during Mass last Sunday, which resulted in the tragic death of a man.
Two suspects described as members of the Islamic State were arrested after the shooting that occurred on January 28 at St. Mary’s Church, located in the Büyükdere neighborhood del distrito Sariyerin the north of Istanbul.
On Sunday night, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya reported that police carried out raids on 30 locations in Istanbul in response to the recent attack. During these raids, arrests were made related to the incident.
