“Let us pray especially for the hearts that are full of hatred and resentment. May the Lord mitigate the desire for revenge and inspire forgiveness and reconciliation in hearts,” says Father Morales.
He also points out that believers have the responsibility to ask for the conversion of the world’s political leaders, so that “God enlightens those who make decisions and they can move towards truly just solutions.”
Finally, he points out that we must pray not only for Christians, but for all humanity: “Our prayer cannot be partial or partisan, but we must be sensitive to the drama of all.”
