The pastor of San Luis Gonzaga, in the city of Talca (Chile) was injured during a robbery and is already out of danger, reported from the bishopric.
This is Fr. Ubeimar Acevedo Arango, victim of a robbery perpetrated this Thursday, June 5 by three criminals in the parish offices, located in 8 North 5 and 6 East, in Talca.

According to the Chilean newspaper The thirdthe incident would have occurred when the pastor wanted to prevent the assault, receiving a stab on the back. The criminals took cash, food, a computer, among other objects.
The priest was then transferred to the local hospital, where after being reviewed he communicated that he is out of danger, the bishopric indicates in a communication.
Meanwhile, officials of the Investigation and Carabineros Police are already doing the corresponding expert opinions in the parish.
From the bishopric they invite the community to pray for Fr. Ubeimar, for his prompt recovery and “so that he can continue to accompany the faithful of the North neighborhood of the regional capital.”
