“Our region has 335 homeless people, it grew compared to the previous year, unfortunately. For this reason, we have to think about how to generate actions that allow us to help these people with different social organizations in the region. This instance allows us to give dignity to those people,” he said.
For his part, the rector of the Padre Alberto Hurtado Bicentenario School, Daniel Almonte, highlighted that the entire educational community is involved in the activity.
“We have the seal of solidarity and this Christmas we will be present with our staff doing this beautiful task, with a three-course dinner preparation, with the assistance of hosts and with our children who will perform some Christmas carols,” he anticipated.
