Online car auctions offer opportunities that are often unmissable. The final sales values, including expenses and taxes, are normally below the market prices. We must also add that participating is easy and convenient, because you can bid from any mobile device. That’s why they are booming.
And companies know this, as they have been using these digital platforms for some time to sell their assets at promotional prices.
The automotive sector is not exempt. The main brands auction off their vehicle fleets online. The plus, compared to other auctions, is that the cars are usually a few years old and have an above-average level of maintenance.
At the end of the month, October 31 to be more specific, General Motors will auction for the site Narvaezbid (narvaezbid.com.ar) 30 vehicles in your fleet, among which three Camaros stand out with little running-in.
The important thing is that interested parties can now bid, creating a user on the platform and paying the bid guarantee, which will be returned in full for all those who do not win the auction.
A dream sports car
The Chevrolet Camaro was the reflection of one of the American sports cars par excellence, an icon of the muscle cars which during its 57 years of life captivated the entire world and whose production ended in 2023. That is why it is already considered a collector’s model.
General Motors also marketed it in Argentina and the remainder will now be auctioned. It is about three Camaro Six SSone in coupe version and two convertibles. All equipped with the powerful 6.2-liter V8 that delivers 461 horsepower, and is associated with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Coupé version is from the year 2017 and is unpatented. According to the information detailed in the lot, it has 6,482 kilometers and some bodywork and upholstery details. The current offer is $91,166,988.
For their part, the convertible variants were manufactured in 2018. One is practically 0 km because it only has 150 kilometers. Its current offer value is $107,795,445. The other, on the other hand, is a little “more traveled” (20,500 km) and its floor is currently at $106,486,670.
Other Chevrolets at auction
Along with the Camaros, the brand with the golden bow offers different models from its fleet that are a few years old; among them, four- and five-door Cruze, Onix, Trailblazer, S10 and Montana.
Most are different trim variants of Cruze sedan manufactured in 2019; all with the 153-horsepower 1.4-liter turbocharged engine and manual and automatic transmission options. The offer values start around $17,000,000.
Also notable in the range of variants is an S10 High Country 4×4 pickup (top-of-the-range version) manufactured in 2019 and with 52,457 kilometers traveled. The offer has not yet exceeded $35,000,000.
How to participate
The first thing to do is enter the website of each platform and create a user. They will receive the expenses and conditions in their email and from there they will be able to continue the process to bid online. The procedure is free and validated in 24 hours.
