Chacarita’s captain suffered an accident when he was going to training

The midfielder Luciano Perdomocaptain of Chacarita Juniors and one of the best players of the last season of the First Nationalsuffered a traffic accident this Monday in San Miguel del Monte when he was heading to his team’s training at the UTA property in the town of Moreno.

According to the party media La Gloriosa Tricolor, Perdomo suffered injuries of varying degrees and he is admitted to the hospital in the Buenos Aires city where he lives with his family. He is still waiting for the medical report to have details on the consequences of the crash.

The first information details that the truck he was driving collided with a truck around 7 in the morning and that the player suffered a series of traumas, including skull injuries, as well as injuries to his face.

The club made themselves available to the hospital and is in contact with Union Soccer Players to transfer Perdomo to a high-complexity center seeking his speedy recovery.

The San Martín club’s social networks reported the event and expressed support for the footballer. “The Press Department of Club Atlético Chacarita Juniors reports that Luciano Perdomo suffered a traffic accident today while on his way to training. We are still awaiting the official medical report, which will be communicated shortly. Strength captain, we are with you!” says the post.

Known as Poochi, the footballer was born 27 years ago in La Matanza and trained in the lower divisions of Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata. From there he went on loan to Aldosivi de Mar del Plata and then was loaned to the San Martín club, where he joined after being released from Lobo.

Since then he established himself as one of the mainstays of the team that was one of the protagonists of the last season beyond having been left without the possibility of achieving promotion to the Professional League, which in the end was in the hands of Independiente Rivadavia de Mendoza and Deportivo Riestra.

In that definition, Perdomo was the protagonist of an unusual situation, since he was left out of the decisive match after referee Andrés Merlos cautioned him in the match against Estudiantes de Buenos Aires. The strange thing is that the player himself had asked him to show him the yellow card – which would be the fifth and would lead to a suspension – when his team was winning and secured a place in the final for the first promotion.

The card, however, came when he tried to separate in a melee after his rival tied the match. Thus, the footballer missed the duel against Atlético Rafaela, where Funebrero was finally left out of the definition, since it was surpassed in the standings by Independiente Rivadavia.
