After a shooting yesterday afternoon in downtown Kansas City following the massive parade for their Super Bowl victory, nearly two dozen people were injured and, so far, only one person has been confirmed dead.
The only fatality, according to the local pressis Lisa López-Galván, radio host and parishioner of the Sacred Heart of Guadalupe Parish, in Kansas City.
In a press conference held this Thursday, February 15, the police indicated that initial investigations indicate that the shooting occurred due to a dispute between people, with no apparent links to terrorism. The deceased victim was identified as “Elizabeth Galvan”, 43 years old.
