The Catholic Church in Santa Cruz (Bolivia) spoke out against the acts of vandalism caused this Wednesday by supporters of the Blooming soccer club, who toured the streets of the city on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the institution.
During the caravan, which moved around the Plaza 24 de Septiembre, the fans painted some public buildings in the city center, including the Minor Basilica of San Lorenzo, the cathedral temple and the Museum.
Given what happened, in dialogue with DutyFather Hugo Ara, rector of the Cathedral and Vicar of Communication of the Archdiocese, lamented “this new aggression against our Church.”
