“I have no anger at all against the president, I feel sorry for him. I’m not mad at him, he’s just stupid. I mean, he is. If you think of any Catholic (…) and he professes what he does, that is ignorance but not in the sense of not knowing. It is not stupidity in the derogatory sense, it is stupidity in the sense that he does not know and does things,” indicated the Bishop of Saginaw.
Bishop Gruss also said about Biden that “he does not understand the Catholic faith. I’m not mad at him but I feel sorry for him and that’s different. He doesn’t control my life. I don’t resent him but I am sad for him because he doesn’t live the life that Jesus wants for him.”
“Your life can be much more,” said the prelate and added: “I already said it and I already brought it out from within.”
