Puerto Iguazú, in Misiones, is preparing to celebrate a new anniversary of the declaration of the Iguazú Falls as one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World.
Under the name of Falls Day Now 13 years since that historic day, they promise special activities and benefits for visitors in different services.
“For us, #CataratasDay is a very important day, and that is why we celebrate welcoming our tourists with warmth and hospitality that characterizes us,” says Leo Lucas, president of the Iguazú Mixed Tourism Entity.
“We are excited about what is to come and with the possibility of showing the world the beauty of the Iguazú Falls that so amaze and arouse interest. To those who arrive on this date we will give a warm and sincere welcome and also as a result of the joint work with the private sector They will be offered exclusive promotions and discounts, in order to enrich the tourist experience,” he adds.
Between November 8 and 11tourists will be able to access discounts on hotel stays, in restaurants or on purchases made in participating businesses.
There will be photographic stations at various strategic points in Puerto Iguazú so that tourists can share their photo on social networks under the hashtag #CataratasDay2024.
This will allow you participate for prizes that you can use during your stay: dinners, tours and tickets to local attractions.
Additionally, there will be a live cultural show in Iguazú National Parkin which the song and dance of the Mbya Guaraní community are integrated to offer a sample of the talent and artistic diversity in the province.
