The producer, also CEO of CCC of America, told the Holy Father that he is Mexican and that “when he opened the box he saw an image with the rest of our cartoons. I want to assume that he remembered them and well gave him great pleasure.”
Leo XIV, Carredano continued, “our work thanked us very much, said he extended his blessing to our families and all who worked on the tape.”
And most importantly, said the producer of the animated film, “it was that he asked us not to stop these great stories of saints’ lives, which are needed more than ever.”
Leo XIV signed a copy of the film produced by CCC of America, which has already made other productions on Santos such as San Nicolás, San Patricio and San Francisco de Asís, as well as the Virgin of Fatima and Lourdes.
The film, which had the collaboration of the Augustine Institute, premiered on Sunday, September 7, the day of the San Carlo Acutis and San Piergio Frassati canonization, and can be seen in all households in the world through the platforms FAMFLIXin Spanish, and Formedin English.
