Cáritas Argentina has made public the most recent report that details the administration and distribution of the funds raised during the year 2023, reaching the total figure of $6,169,050,220 Argentine pesos (equivalent to just over 6 million dollars).
The funds were allocated to different programs that the organization directs in terms of human promotion, immediate help and assistance in emergencies in the 67 dioceses of the 24 Argentine provinces. These programs have played a crucial role in improving, and in many cases, transforming the quality of life of thousands of beneficiary families.
In a context marked by a deep economic crisis, characterized by significant increases in the prices of the basic basket, fuel, transportation, public services, among others; as well as a rate of poverty that reaches 57.4% of the population, the help of charitable organizations is essential. Among these, the presence of Cáritas stands out, which offers extensive coverage throughout the territory.
