“I have come to the Holy Land with faith and prayer, to these places where war rages, where there is hatred, where there is revenge, where some kill others, where there is no water, no food, where there is no electricity. Even on Christmas, the most sacred days for us, they have not stopped fighting, killing, both in Ukraine and in the Gaza Strip,” Cardinal Krajewski remarks.
The cardinal claims to have undertaken his journey “with the most sophisticated weapons in the world, that is, faith and prayer, which can always move mountains and thus put an end to conflicts.”
He also highlights that he has visited all the places where Jesus was and prays to God for those who suffer the consequences of war. “My hope is that peace will truly flourish in the hearts of men,” he concluded.
