The Archbishop of Bogotá (Colombia) Cardinal Luis José Ruedio Aparicio, invited in his Pascua Message of Resurrection to take three steps that allow the future to be built and give hope to the country.
“Christ has risen and the resurrected walks through all the territories of our country. He is in the middle of us, He is part of our history. He is the son of the living God, the walker in our culture, in our geography,” he said in a video published on YouTube.

Therefore, the Cardinal encouraged “that this context of Easter leads us to take a few steps, to move from an ancient condition to a new condition throughout Colombian society.”
“The first step is to care
Culture of care, caring for our family, taking care of our relationships, taking care of the environment, because they are riches that the Lord has given us, ”he said.
As a second step, he said that “it is necessary that we go from an aggressive word to a constructive word, to a benevolent word, to a word that generates social friendship, to a sincere word that allows us to respect ourselves, that allows us to communicate.”
Finally, he pointed out that the third is to pass “from the loneliness of individualism, of individual prominence, to collectively build, to be together, to live the fraternity, to live solidarity.”
“Those three steps are at your fingertips, they are in the head, in the heart and in the hands of all Colombians, so that we advance, so that we grow in hope and so that our country has a future,” said the archbishop of Bogotá.
