The project of this 73 -year -old billionaire and his wife, Grazyna, would exceed in height that he currently holds first place, the Virgin of Mother God in Miribel, west of France, which measures 35 meters.
According to local media, the construction of this great sculpture already has all the permits and is expected to be completed in 2026.
The Mariana image will be 40.6 meters high and will be placed on a crown -shaped 15 meters, adding a total of 55.6 meters.
This sculpture will rise in the immediate vicinity of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Dolores, in Konotop, which for years has attracted numerous pilgrims of Poland.
The statue of the world’s largest Mary, 90 meters high, is found in the Philippines. However, the Virgin of Kikól will overcome the image of the highest Christ in the world, located in Swiebodzin, also in Poland.
The design of that Christ, made in 2010, was in charge of the priest Sylwester Zawadzki and measures 51 meters high, if his pedestal and the gold crown that he carries in the head is taken into account.
Compared to the 51 meters of the Christ of Swiebodzin, the famous image of Christ Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, reaches 38 meters.
