The prelate thanked the authorities for their collaboration in the exhumation of Mons. Ricardo’s body, which took approximately two months. “We have managed to achieve it thanks to the love and respect with which the Cemetery administration has done it, saying goodbye to the body of Monsignor Ricardo.”
“They came to ask for his blessing and prayers, which was a very emotional moment full of faith and commitment to the Lord,” he said.
Present at the Mass and the funeral, Bishop Ricardo’s niece, Raquel Peñaloza Chávez, recalled the words of her mother and aunt, who told her that her uncle was a pastor who loved family and that, while in Oruro , went to the communities bringing peace and love to all the families in the countryside.
