The Catholic Church in Bolivia received this Monday its new Apostolic Nuncio, Mons. Fermín Emilio Sosa Rodríguez, who assured that he arrived in the country to bring “the presence of the Holy Father to the faithful.”
At the airport he was received by a delegation of bishops, including the Archbishop of La Paz, Mons. Percy Galván; the Bishop of El Alto, Mons. Giovani Arana, Secretary General of the CEB; the Auxiliary Bishops of La Paz, Mons. Luis Durán and Mons. Basilio Mamani the Prelate Bishop of Corocoro, Mons. Pascual Limachi; the Bishop of Coroico, Mons. Juan Carlos Huaygua; executive staff of the Episcopal Conference, priests and nuns.
The welcome ceremony took place in the Red Room of the airport, where he was received by the parish choir and musicians who performed “Walk as Prophets.”
