Shortly after ruling of the Court of Appealswhich revoked the decision of Judge Abrevaya and through which the call for the presidential elections was given free rein, the main leaders of Boca held a Board of Directors meeting where they defined central issues: the 17th as the date of the elections and the cancellation of the celebrations for Fan’s Day.
Boca’s statement
“With great satisfaction, Boca Juniors informs members and fans in general that this Sunday, December 17, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.a vote will be taken to elect the authorities who will govern the club until 2027.
To adjust all the organizational details, such as the conditioning of accesses, stalls, recreation areas, spaces dedicated to gastronomy and logistical issues, in order to guarantee that Sunday’s election is a party, the CD considers it pertinent to cancel the celebrations that They were going to take place this 12/12, at La Bombonera, on the occasion of Boca Fan’s Day.
Because we know the people of Boca, because we know their feeling and loyalty to the club, we are convinced that on Sunday we will experience another unforgettable day.”
