Different municipalities in the province of Buenos Aires commemorate Flag Day with a tourist agenda full of Unmissable proposals for the extra long weekend from June 20 to 23.
For example, in Espartillar, Saavedra, the 3rd Black Truffle Festival Argentina; Luján organizes the 21st Sun party in Carlos Keen; and in Avellaneda the Argentine Alfajor Championship.
Here are some of the events that are being held these days in the province, to organize a good long weekend getaway.
Garín (Escobar) Anniversary
Thursdays from 9:30 on Boulevard Presidente Perón and 2 de Abril, Garín.
The celebration of Garín’s 131st anniversary – with free admission – will begin with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag by male and female students and will continue with the traditional civic parade, live shows and a grand closing, at 5:30 p.m. with the Bersuit Vergarabat.
There will also be a gastronomic patio, cultural activities for the family and an entrepreneur fair. Free entrance. Organized by the Municipality of Escobar.
Ayacucho Anniversary
From Thursday to Saturday, at different times and spaces in the city.
As part of the 158th anniversary of the founding of the city, on Thursday, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., there will be a Flag Contest exhibition at the La Vieja Usina Cultural Center; at 8 p.m., Creole Mass in the Nuestra Señora de la Purificación parish.
On Friday at 9pm it will be the turn of the saxophone and piano concert in the Liberator Hall; and on Saturday the 22nd, at 9, an offering to the monument of the city’s founder, José Zoilo Miguens; at 10, the official ceremony in the Libertador Hall; at 1 p.m., anniversary fair in the Plaza del Tanque, and at 9 p.m., anniversary peña at the United Youth Club.

Itinerant Chocolate and Alfajor Festival (Santa Clara del Mar)
Friday and Saturday, from 2 to 6 p.m., in the Atlántida Forest Reserve.
More than 20 people will participate in this event organized by the Municipality of Mar Chiquita – with free admission. local producers of alfajores, chocolates and derivativesand there will also be shows for the whole family, craft stands and product raffles.
Great Acuyai Party (Lobos)
Friday from 8; Saturday from 10 and Sunday from 9, at the Acuyai Premises, Tradición and Barracas streets.

Argentine Black Truffle Festival (Espartillar, Saavedra)

Live Master Class at the SUM of the EEP N°8, entrepreneur walk at the Club Sportivo Belgrano, gastronomic fair, regional products, tasting and Guided tours of the Truffles at the End of the World property They will be some of the attractions of this 3rd edition of TRUFAR, the Argentine Black Truffle Festival.
They will be chefs Lele Cristobal y Osvaldo Gross (admission fee) and there will be free demonstrations of the Truffle hunt in Centenario Plaza and guided tours of the town.

Argentine Alfajor Championship (Avellaneda)
From Friday to Sunday from 12 to 8 p.m. at the Parque de la Estación Municipal Exhibition Center, Güemes at 700.
An experience of flavor and tradition with competition for the best alfajora contest for the best alfajor chosen by the children – who will also be able to prepare alfajores -, master classes, special guests, bands that will play live and preparation of a giant alfajor to share with the audience.
One of the most anticipated moments will be the inauguration of the “Kilometer of the Argentine Alfajor” in Avellaneda, an official opening of this thematic route dedicated to one of the most emblematic sweets.

Dolores Tango (Dolores)
From Friday to Monday, at different times and spaces in the city.
Four days of pure tango, culture and art in the municipality, the Unione Theater, Castelli Street and the Municipal Historical Archive, with the participation of local and national artists first level.
