Mexico

The Primada Archdiocese of Mexico celebrates the month of the Bible 2025 under the motto “To meet those far from the biblical perspective”The program includes meetings on September 1, 12, 19 and 26, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., through YouTube and Zoom. Among the speakers are Cardinal Carlos Aguiar Retes, Mons. Javier Acero, Mons. Héctor M. Pérez Villareal, P. Arturo Barranco, Dr. Mariana Ivalú and P. Estanislao Vega.

Likewise, the University of the Northeast of Mexico (UNM) will hold the “Open Bible” meeting on Thursday, September 11, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 pm, in the San José de la UNM Hall in Matamoros.

The central theme will be “The disciples of Emaus: from discouragement to hope” (Luke 24, 13-35), by Fr. Esteban Ramírez Rodríguez. The activity is free and the attendees are invited to carry their Bible.

Peru

The Peruvian Episcopal Conference invites the month of the Bible 2025 with the theme of peace, service and good treatment, offering two subsidies: “The good Samaritan”, about tenderness and care relations, and “healthy families: good treatment”, to strengthen coexistence in home. Materials can be downloaded for free in bibliaycatequesis.org/el-buen-samaritano or acquired in printed version at S/ 1.00 at the headquarters of the Episcopal Commission of Catechesis and Biblical Pastoral (Jr. United States 838, Jesús María).

The Catholic Bible National Congress will also be held in the country on September 23 and 24, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 pm (virtual modality). The event will have the participation of eight speakers – priests, theologists, biblists and specialists – that will deepen in various topics on the Holy Scriptures.

Colombia

In the month of the Bible 2025, the Church in Colombia presents the subsidy “Perseverantes in the Communion (Acts 2,42)”, prepared by the Episcopal Conference through the Department of Catechesis and Biblical Animation. The document, presented by Mons. Pedro Manuel Salamanca, Bishop of Facatativá, addresses communion as the root of synodality and offers four divine Lectio workshops on communion in the Bible: the sacrifice of communion (Lev 3), fraternal communion as gift of God (Ps 133), the Church as a living communion (Acts 2,42-47) and the relationship between communion and Eucharist 10,14-22).

Argentina

In Argentina, the National Department of Animation and Biblical Pastoral (Denapbi) celebrates the month of the Bible 2025 with the subsidy “hope does not disappoint” (Rom 5,5) and a daily September proposal that includes plaques with biblical quotes to deepen the word of God.

Ecuador

The Ecuadorian Episcopal Conference (CEE) invites you to deepen the Word of God with the new edition of “Hope Liva in the history of salvation”, a resource of biblical studies that allows an approach to stories marked by “faith and hope that does not disappoint.” They are available at the CEE bookstore in Antonio de Ulloa N24-109 and Av. Colón.

Chile

The Archbishopric of Santiago opened the month of the Bible with a celebration of music, dance and prayer in the San Vicente de Paul parish.

As part of the program, a Pastoral Biblical Seminar 2025 Under the slogan “Pilgrims of Hope”, which left its formation conferences in the YouTube channel of the Liturgy and Spirituality. This space addressed issues such as jubilee and communications, jubilee and young people and education, jubilee and mercy, and jubilee in the world of workers, entrepreneurs and rulers. The Bolivian Episcopal Conference launched the subsidy “Rejoice in hope” (RM 12,12) To guide the experience of the month of the Bible. The material proposes four Sunday meetings focused on the letters of St. Paul, in addition to activities such as solemn enthronement of the sacred writing, divine lectio, fairs and biblical competitions.

The month will conclude with the National Day of the Bible, on the last Sunday of September, as thanksgiving and commitment to bring the floor to all communities in the country.

Uruguay

During September, the word of God’s word of the Episcopal Conference of Uruguay organizes an online training cycle under the theme “La Esperanza”. The talks, dictated by different priests on Mondays at 8:00 pm (local time), address hope from the Bible, catechesis, liturgy and mission.

The Paraguayan Episcopal Conference is organizing the 8th National Biblical Animation Congress of Pastoral (ABP) with the motto “Pilgrims of Hope.” The meeting will be held on September 27 and 28 at the Tacurú Pucú sports center, in the city of Hernandarias (Diocese of Ciudad del Este).

The call invites communities and pastoral agents throughout the country to participate in this space of faith, reflection and training around the Word of God. The contribution to register is 30,000 Guarani ($ 4.2), and more information can be obtained by contacting the number 0983-611762 or with the Diocesan Coordinators of the ABP.
