Villa Robles is a country of about a thousand hectares located 19 km from Pinamar. There, one block from the sea and in the middle of the forest, stands this three-story house, generous in size and with a sober decoration. On the ground floor is the living room with an integrated kitchen and a reception toilet.
The main entrance door and the one that connects to the outside area of the park give it a double circulation, which provides fluidity to the income. Con four bedrooms en suitethe main one has panoramic views, thanks to its height and the large windows that surround it. There you will live an immersive experience between the aromatic pine forest and the views towards the sea. Cementitious materials, stone and a profusion of wood on the floors and various walls give it its warm and classic imprint, which is signed with a Neutral color palette: gray and brown in different ranges, black and white.
Crystals, glass and acrylic chairs provide transparency, which is another key in the design. All the wood coverings are from Patagonia Flooring and the furniture is from Fontenla, with the exception of the outdoor living room next to the jaccuzzi, made up of pieces in pistachio green and fuchsia, from the Italian Paola Lenti, a brand that landed in the country with the help of the architect Hugo Gallego.
The summer home was built to house a couple with three children: In accordance with the modus vivendi of the family group, two more lots were annexed. One to extend the park – where different species from the place were planted, without sacrificing any existing ones – and another to make a guest house under which there is a kind of shed and hangar, where beach vehicles such as quadricycles, UTV (Utility Task Vehicle) and buggies. “My son Andrés discovered this place 7 years ago, and I felt it like my place in the world,” says Daniel Saramaga, owner of the house. In the attached guest house there is a gym and a room to store maintenance items.
For the decoration, the idea of Gaby – the businessman’s wife and an accountant – was a backbone: “A functional, comfortable house to receive friends.” The desire was interpreted by the architect Mariano Cánova, who used the spaces alternating different woods such as very wide oak slats raised from the floor to the walls.
The trend of applying natural coatings is known today as neurointeriorism. and improves the emotional well-being and quality of life of those who inhabit environments that inspire calm and connection with nature. These coatings include everything from acoustic panels to isolate noise to water-resistant wood, not only for outdoor decks but also for high-traffic flooring, which is ideal for a beach house.
For the dining room they chose a square table with a wooden top and a 2 x 2m metal base, surrounded by eight chairs and illuminated by an important lamp, suspended from the ceiling. The living room has a custom-made piece of furniture, illuminated with LED lights, to place the TV, store dishes and different objects. A gray four-seat armchair, another one with a mat backrest and a low table demarcate the living room, where a floor lamp with a black shade projects a punctual light. On one side, an iron fireplace that lights up in winter, although there are radiators and hot and cold air conditioners.
In the master suite on the second floor with a balcony, white cotton curtains and the headboard of the bed made with a divider of wooden rods (Slim Wood Panel) with space for shelves stand out. All bathrooms have sinks and large windows overlooking the forest..
A rattan dining set with eight chairs and a glass-topped table is located next to the grill built into a stone volume. White lounge chairs complete the outdoor set, which rests on a wooden deck. With respect for the original forestation and protected by the trees that stop the southeast winds and the salt of the sea breeze, the house is friendly and simple, like the new luxury.
