The Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum (APRA) presented the seventh edition in the Spanish language of the Diploma in Union Studies, comprehensively offered at a distance and that aims to offer “a systematic approach” to the challenges that this relic presents to the intelligence, faith and heart of believers.
The diploma is carried out in collaboration with the Spanish Center for Syndonology and the Mexican Center for Sindonology. In addition to Spanish, the course is offered by sixteenth occasion in Italian and for the ninth occasion in English.

“This extensive tour is directed to both clergy and laity, teachers, researchers and journalists, and in general to all those who want to deepen, with an interdisciplinary approach, in the vast and rich area of the studies of the Holy Sabbia,” explains the APRA on its website.
The duration is one year, divided into two semesters and the registrations will be available until October 21, 2025. The first semester will begin on October 8 and will conclude on January 8, 2026, while the second semester will begin on February 11 and will conclude on May 21, 2026.
“The course consists of a preliminary approach to the challenges that the Holy sheet raises to intelligence without losing sight of its spiritual and theological meaning,” writes the institute in the Diploma program.
“The studies of the holy sheet cannot be content with questions about the authenticity of the fabric. It is not enough to investigate what the man of the holy sheet suffered from a coroner.
