The famous British atheist Richard Dawkins, author of the book The God Delusiondeclared in a recent interview that he identifies himself as a “cultural Christian”, preferring Christianity to Islam, although he clarifies that he does not believe “a word” of the Christian faith.
In the interview with Rachel Johnson, broadcast on March 31 in LBCDawkins noted that he was “horrified” to learn that Oxford Street in London (United Kingdom) promotes Ramadan, the Muslim fasting month, instead of the Christian holiday of Easter.
He then stated: “I do believe that we are culturally a Christian country. “I call myself a cultural Christian.”
