ARQ Magazine presented the 2023 Excellence Awards

As is traditional, the ARQ Magazine of Diario Clarín delivered the Excellence Awards to architecture studios, construction companies, developers, interior designers and companies supplying the sector. The ceremony was in the auditorium of the magnificent Santander Building on 1380 Paseo Colón Avenue and was attended by the highest authorities of the newspaper.

The celebration also served to present a book in tribute to Rafael Viñolythe Rio de la Plata architect who died in March.

Edited jointly by ARQ Magazine and Viñoly Architects (the studio run by his son Román), “Viñoly” displays fifteen of his emblematic works and includes testimonies from those who knew him. The book is already in newsstands across the country. at a price of $3,000.

After the screening of a video that summarized Viñoly’s work and legacy, Carlos Sallaberry, his friend and partner for many years, He thanked the recognition with a broken voice.

Then the awards ceremony began, a true annual party for those who belong to the world of architecture. The awards are granted based on the Ranking of Excellence carried out for ARQ by the consulting firm D’Alessio IROL.

This year, the survey reached 2,888 people (architects, builders, suppliers of materials and services, real estate developers and interior designers), who chose the best in each category nationwide.

After the welcoming words of the general editor of ARQ, Berto González Montanerthe winners took the stage to receive their awards.

The winners of the ARQ 2023 Excellence Award

Mario Roberto Álvarez and Associates (MRA+A) It took first place among Architecture Studies. In that area, they followed MSGSSV (Manteola, Sánchez Gómez, Santos, Solsona, Vinson), in second place; and ATV Architects (Azubel, Trabucchi, Viggiano), in the third.

In Emerging Voices and Intermediate Generation they were distinguished Blonde Cubero (1st place), SMF Arquitectos /Juan Martín Flores (2nd place) and Abramzon Studio (3rd place).

The construction companies that got on the podium were Screen (1st place), South American Construction Company (2nd place) and Techint Engineering and Construction (3°).

Among the development companies, the ATV Architects (1st place), IRSA (2nd place) and Blonde Cubero (3rd place).

Martin Zanotti won in the Interior Designers category, followed by Bórmida & Yanzón (Eliana Bórmida & Luisa Yanzón) y Paula from Elía Studio.

In the Construction Materials and Services Supplier Companies category, the winners were FV Group (FV-Ferrum), Saint-Gobain and Sika Argentinawho received first, second and third prize respectively.
