To reach the first prize of the International Contest for the Draft Globant Ionic Building, opened in 2023 raised the Arlic Galindez study to the next level. To the building located a few blocks from the main square of Tandil, headquarters of one of the Argentine unicor There are plenty of architectural merits.
But the team headed by the Architects Santiago Alric, Carlos Galindez and Federico Lloveras, along with Luciano CapaccioliI have been leaving a mark for a long time.
Arlic and Galindez started in 1995 and today have offices in the province of Buenos Aires and Bariloche. They work together, with projects in Argentina and abroad.
Martínez’s study – which from a volume of sheet met resource catalog They manage fluently: covers that rise generating an entrance of light, spatial tensions, strategically located courtyards. Plus careful work to take from each material an expressive channel. All with resource economy.
His housing production in Patagonia is vast and diverse. The Dachas, a Houses set Projected in 2009 on a field with a strong slope for Lake Nahuel Huapi, in Bariloche, is another of the projects that identifies them.
In all their production, the authors intend to find a different look, avoiding pre -established solutions. They define it as “an analytical process where They explore alternative roads that converge in a superior proposal. ”

Owled volumes
Uan House is located on a land in a low and dense vegetation zone, with a soft slope that descends to the street. “If you could observe from an elevated view, impressive panoramic views would be revealed to the lake and the window and cathedral hills,” the authors limit.

With the objective of preserve vegetation Original, they proposed two volumes. One corresponds to the house and the other transforms into an elevated garden on the existing vegetation.

In addition, to make the most of the views, they decided Invest the traditional distribution of a house. That is, the living spaces and the main bedroom are located at the upper level; while at the lower level are the bedrooms of the children, of guests, and the support and service sectors.

The spaces of the upper level are removed with respect to the lower level creating a wide terrace that expands the house towards the landscape. This Defashing It gives rise to a semicubiente area that functions as secondary access, in addition to space for vehicles and bicycles.

Taking advantage of the natural slope of the land access to housing is resolved through a Rampado bridge that reaches the social level of housing. Thus, the existing vegetation runs below.

And Unique material, the black slatedefine the exterior of the house, both the walls and the roof. Inside, the contrast of a wooden box seeks to give it a climate of warmth that refers to the typical patagonic houses.

The main floor is open, integrating the kitchen, the living room and adding to the terrace as an expansion to enjoy spectacular views.

“Housing is integrated into the landscape as a neutral objectwhose geometry subtly contrasts with vegetation, highlighting the natural beauty of the environment, ”defines the authors.

Space for the meeting
The Labase House is on a land with a descending slope from the front to the bottom. Is surrounded by trees, with the possibility of achieving a Wide view Towards the Cathedral hill in the front and towards a golf court in the counterfart.

The principal wanted the house to be like “a Mountain sheltera place that enhances links and relationships between friends and family, a heat place that is the basis of the encounter, ”they describe.

The projects resolved the house as a wooden case that is based on the field, generating a contrast by its geometry with the natural environment.

In this case, it is entered by a path that sinks on Earth, generating a Gradual procession of an open space to an in -the -art space.

The proposal raises an area with different moments for the meeting: a Place of fire Sunk on the floor, a sector to be, another to eat and the kitchen, although participating all these in a social space.

The bedrooms are found on the top floor, fed by a Linear circulation which is linked to social space through double height, also working as an expansion of the bedrooms.

The ground floor has a direct output to the garden incorporating the golf court into the inner landscape. While the bedrooms capture the views of the Cathedral hill over the neighboring houses.

Rooted in the field

The House f It occupies a flat land adjacent to a part of the common space of the neighborhood, from where you can enjoy the views of the Cathedral hill and the window hill.
Designed to be a daily house, the authors sought a Land connection and a direct relationship with the garden.

The best views are to the side, so the house is organized longitudinally, creating a sequence of spaces interconnected.

First, the common area (living room, dining room, kitchen) opens towards a deck, taking advantage of the views and connection with the garden. Then, the bedrooms are arranged behind each other, being the main one who is at the bottom.

He Coihue outer coatinga hard and low maintenance wood but with movement, it was placed within a light structure of iron angles, thus, “wood can be expanded and contract as needed without generating constructive problems,” explain the designers.
